Project Menu 

 

Cut, Copy, Paste – depending upon the selected elements these functions can be used to copy or move information such as text between data entry cells. Alternatively a BoQ element can be copied or moved from one point in the document to another, in which case all information within that element is transferred with it.

 

Delete – Can be used as an alternative to the keyboard delete key to remove selected information or BoQ element(s).

 

Sorts – Leads (via a sub-menu) to a dialogue where BoQ/Resource Sorts can be defined. The sorts can be used in Tabular style reports.

 

Filters – Leads (via a sub-menu) to a dialogue where BoQ/Resource Filters can be defined. The filters can be used in BoQ or Tabular style reports.

 

Import – Lists the various data import options.

 

Export – Lists the various data export options.

 

Export to CS Project – Allows Exporting to CS Project.


Reports… – Leads to the define reports dialog that lists the existing reports and allows them to be printed/previewed/edited and new reports to be created.

 

Preview… – Launches the preview window for the currently selected report from the ‘Selected Report for Preview/Output’ box.

 

Logos… – Leads to a dialogue where you can add Logos to your Reports

 

Constants… – Allows a list of user defined variables to be created that can then be made use of in report headers (e.g. Project title, Client name, Author etc.) or incorporated into user variable calculations.

 

Settings… – Leads to a Dialogue where the project details can be entered and the statistics can be viewed. Additionally settings such as the automatic prefixing of new pages and items can be set and formatted.

 

Resource Centre… – Launches the Resource Centre Dialogue allow you to see all resources within your project and what they are assigned to, if you have a measured item selected it will launch in assignment mode allowing you to add new resources to an item.
