The BoQ Document Layout
The Left side of the screen is where the layout of the BoQ document is displayed and can be used to navigate the document using the mouse pointer or the keyboard.
There is a choice of views that can be used in the BoQ layout pane - Tree View and Grid View.
Tree View
The tree view displays the BoQ document as a hierarchic tree in a similar style to a Windows Explorer folder/file structure. As with windows explorer, Bill sections and Pages can be opened and closed to display or hide their contents.
Grid View
The Grid View provides a customisable spreadsheet style view of the document. Various column layouts can be set up and saved to allow the user to return to preferred settings for any given task.
The Grid View can be used to navigate the document and information displayed can be edited from within the grid.
