You may decide that the basic rate of a particular resource is too high or too low and wish to change that rate throughout the estimate.
By highlighting the resource selecting that resource with a right click of the mouse a menu will be invoked with the following options…
Selecting the “Properties…” option, as highlighted on the example, will allow the resource to be edited and all of its occurrences in the data file will be updated to suit.
Therefore, if the JCB 3CX hourly rate is changed from £28 per hour to a quoted rate of (say) £25 per hour, the item unit cost (and therefore the selling rate) calculated for all items where a JCB 3CX has been used will be adjusted.
