The Resource Centre can also be used to view the total usage of each Basic Resource (e.g. Materials).
This screen allows the user to adjust the Base Rate of an individual resource, and see the effect on the Total Resource Cost.
Open the Resource Centre by selecting from the Valesco Project Toolbar.
In the Resource Centre, select “Show Used” resources, and open the Resource Grid View panel on the right by left-clicking on the “Show Grid” (Cogs).
To view the usage of each Resource Group, click on the Cost Types (e.g. Labour, Plant & Material). This will display the usage of each Basic Resource within the Cost Type/Resource Group over on the left side Grid.
By left-clicking on the ‘Total Resource Cost’ column header, the list will be sorted by value.
The Grid view has one editable field (white), which allows the Base Rate to be adjusted for all instances of a particular resource.
