Bulk Change Pricing allows you to make global amendments to the pricing of a range of items in one pass. It is especially useful for assigning or removing selected resources from rates for a range of items. This avoids having to visit each item individually to make the same change.
The changes will be applied to all the items selected using a filter, or where manually selected. These are indicated in the BoQ Tree by the red tick next to selected items.
The meaning and setting up the values available for each field are described in the Pricing Chapter. This section only deals with applying the required changes.
•To make a Bulk Changes to Pricing
1. Click the mouse on Action from the menu bar, then select Assignments from the Bulk Change section. Select the Resources to be used in the change by highlighting the required resource and choosing Add>>.
2. To remove resources from the selection highlight the resource to be removed from the list and choose <<Remove.
3. Set the number of each resource to add and the production of the required resources.
4. When all the details have been set click the mouse on Add to Selected (or Remove From Selected) to apply the changes.
Clear Selection will clear the right hand pane and allow you to restart the resource selection.
